Clear policies, plainly written.

The documents below govern use of this website and of AnswerQuay services. They are published so that customers, institutions and their advisers can review our commitments without needing to ask.

01

Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website and of AnswerQuay services, including Q CHASE, Q Collection and Q Compliance. Where a signed order form or master services agreement is in place with your organisation, that agreement takes precedence for the services it covers.

1. Who we are

The services are provided by AnswerQuay Limited. Company and contact details are set out in the Company & contact section below. Browsing this website, sending an enquiry, registering interest or submitting an application does not by itself create a paid service contract.

2. The service and your order

Examples and product descriptions on this website illustrate intended uses; they are not a promise that every feature, integration or task is available to you. Before you buy, your order will identify the specific deliverables, limits, compatibility requirements, setup arrangements, start date, price including applicable tax, billing interval and cancellation terms. A contract is formed only when we expressly accept your order and confirm it to you on a durable medium, such as email.

3. Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 and authorised to enter the agreement. If you act for a business or institution, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Keep your account access secure, provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Each account is issued to a named individual and must not be shared.

4. Your instructions and approvals

You remain responsible for deciding whether outputs are suitable before relying on them; automated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. External actions require supported connections, appropriate permissions and agreed approval boundaries. Completing onboarding does not authorise any purchase, external communication, deletion or binding commitment. Our services are not an emergency service and are not a substitute for regulated professional, legal, financial or clinical advice.

5. Charges, renewal and changes

Only the amounts and billing schedule shown in your confirmed order apply. Any renewal, tax treatment, usage-based charge or price change will be clearly disclosed before you agree. We will give advance notice of any material change that is adverse to you, together with your cancellation rights. No undisclosed charges are authorised.

6. Your content and confidentiality

You keep your rights in the content you provide and grant us only the permission needed to deliver the agreed service. You must have authority to share that content. Access to your information is limited to authorised personnel and service providers for stated purposes. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement will be put in place before access is granted.

7. Availability, suspension and termination

Support hours and service levels are set out in your order. We may restrict harmful or unauthorised activity proportionately; where lawful, we will explain why and give you a route to challenge the decision. Ending a service does not remove rights already accrued or any refund you are entitled to.

8. Consumer protections and responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to conformity, repair, price reduction, termination and refunds. Any limitation of liability for business customers will be set out in a separately agreed contract. These terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of responsibility or a waiver of statutory rights.

9. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections and court rights of the country where you normally live. To make a complaint, contact us using the details below and include your order reference, a description of the problem and the resolution you are asking for.

02

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AnswerQuay Limited uses personal data. It is designed around the GDPR, the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 and, for UK users, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who is responsible

AnswerQuay Limited is the controller for website enquiries, demonstration requests, interest registrations, institutional access applications, accounts and our own business records. Where an institutional client stores records inside a platform such as Q Compliance, that client is the controller and we process those records on its instructions.

2. What we collect

The details you submit through our forms — such as your name, work email, organisation, job title, telephone number, and the product and organisation details you choose to give. For accounts: an account identifier, email address and access records. For purchases: order, billing and subscription references; full payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us. We also keep limited technical and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Why we use it and our lawful bases

To respond to your enquiry and take steps you ask for before a contract; to perform a contract with you or your organisation; to verify the identity and standing of institutional applicants and meet legal, sanctions and record-keeping obligations; and, on the basis of legitimate interests balanced against your rights, to keep our services secure and prevent fraud. Optional analytics or marketing measurement would rely only on your consent and stays off unless you opt in.

4. Q Collection interest and applications

Registering interest in Q Global Gold or Q Global Platinum is not a credit application and no credit check is carried out at that stage. If you later make a formal application, identity, KYC, AML and credit checks are carried out by the responsible authorised provider under its own privacy notice, which will be given to you before you apply.

5. Data minimisation

Optional fields can be left blank. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, payment-card details, identity documents, health information or other highly sensitive information through website forms.

6. Who we share it with

Contracted hosting, authentication, email, payment, support and approved integration providers, and authorised personnel, only as needed for the purposes above. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client records to train external AI models.

7. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside Ireland, the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep it

Retention is purpose-specific. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Account and contract records are kept for the life of the relationship and then for the period required by law. Financial records are kept for statutory periods. Institutional assessment and audit records are kept for the period agreed in the client's data schedule.

9. Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a portable copy of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Requests about records held inside a client's platform are passed to that client, who decides the response.

10. Complaints

You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

11. Automated decisions and changes

This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about visitors. Any new use of personal data that materially changes purposes, recipients or categories will be assessed and explained before it starts. Material changes to this policy will be dated and communicated where required.

03

Cookie Policy

Irish and UK ePrivacy rules require consent before information is stored on or read from your device, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you request.

1. What this website uses today

This website uses only strictly necessary storage: technology required to load pages securely and, for signed-in areas, to keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without stopping the site from working.

2. Optional analytics and marketing

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, session-replay or partner-tracking cookies on this website. If we introduce any, they will stay off until you consent, a cookie choice will be offered with Accept all, Reject optional and Customise options of equal prominence, and this policy will list each cookie by name, provider, purpose and duration.

3. Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in to client areas. Any consent you give can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

04

Acceptable Use Policy

Access to AnswerQuay services is conditional on lawful, responsible use consistent with your own regulatory obligations.

1. Use responsibly

Use the services only for lawful purposes and only with information and systems you are entitled to access. Respect the rights, privacy, confidentiality and intellectual property of others.

2. Prohibited activity

Do not use AnswerQuay for fraud, impersonation, harassment, discriminatory abuse, unlawful surveillance, malware, credential theft, security bypasses, unsolicited bulk messages or to facilitate illegal activity. Do not submit stolen or confidential data, or personal data you have no authority to share.

3. Access and actions

Do not grant broader access than an agreed workflow needs. Never put passwords, secret keys, payment-card data or authentication codes into forms. Do not attempt to access another customer's or institution's records, or to circumvent approval rules, usage limits or account controls.

4. Evidence integrity

Documents submitted as assessment evidence must be authentic and complete. Records must not be altered to change a decision outcome; corrections are made through the audit-preserving amendment process.

5. Human review

Check outputs before relying on them, particularly where they affect finances, credit, health, legal rights, employment or safety. AnswerQuay must not be used as an emergency response system or represented as a licensed professional.

6. Responding to misuse

Suspected misuse may lead to proportionate restriction or suspension while it is reviewed. Where lawful, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to correct or challenge it. Statutory rights are preserved.

05

Refunds & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel and when refunds apply. Nothing here reduces your mandatory consumer rights.

1. Consumer cooling-off period

Consumers who enter an online service contract generally have 14 days from the date the contract is concluded to cancel without giving a reason. Starting a service is not, by itself, a waiver of that right.

2. Starting during the cancellation period

If you expressly ask for a service to begin during the cancellation period and then cancel, you may be asked to pay a proportionate amount for work already performed. Any such charge will be disclosed before you ask us to start.

3. How to cancel

Use the billing management option in your account to stop a renewal, or send a clear cancellation request by email. Stopping a renewal and withdrawing from a contract are different: please say if you want to withdraw and request a refund. Include your name, account email, order reference and order date. No specific wording is required.

4. Model cancellation notice

To AnswerQuay Limited, admin.centraloffice@answerquay.ie: I give notice that I cancel my contract for [service], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Order reference: [reference]. Date: [date]. A signature is needed only if sent on paper.

5. Refund timing and method

Where a withdrawal refund is due, it is made without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of your notice, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise at no extra cost.

6. Setup fees, subscriptions and business purchases

Setup fees are not automatically refundable; your statutory rights and the work actually performed decide what is due. Your order states the renewal interval, cancellation deadline and when access ends. Business purchases may have separately agreed cancellation terms; consumer withdrawal rights do not automatically apply to business contracts.

7. Problems with the service

If a service does not conform to your contract, contact us with the issue and your order reference. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to correction, a price reduction, termination or a refund.

06

Security & Data Protection

Security is built into how our platforms behave, not only into policy.

Tenant isolation

In Q Compliance each institution operates in its own logical workspace. Access to another institution's records is prevented in the application and in the database.

Access control

Role-based permissions limit each person to the functions their role allows. Privileged actions are attributed to a named user and recorded in an audit log.

Encryption and secrets

Data is encrypted in transit. Credentials and secret keys are handled server-side and are never exposed to the browser.

Processing for clients

Where we process personal data for an institutional client, a data processing agreement sets out instructions, sub-processors, transfers, retention and deletion before any records are loaded.

Reporting a concern

If you believe you have found a security issue, email us using the details below. Please do not access, change or delete data that is not yours.

07

Financial Products Notice

This notice applies to Q Collection, including Q Global Gold and Q Global Platinum.

Proposed products

Q Global Gold and Q Global Platinum are proposed corporate credit card products. They are not yet available. Card images on this website are product concepts and not issued payment instruments.

Credit and issuing

AnswerQuay Limited is not a bank or credit institution. Any card issuance and credit facility will be provided by an appropriately authorised provider, subject to eligibility, KYC, AML and credit checks, underwriting and acceptance of that provider's terms. Credit decisions remain with that provider.

Benefits, limits and fees

Card network, credit limits, interest rates, fees and benefits have not been set. Benefits described as proposed or potential are not guaranteed and will be confirmed by the issuing provider before launch.
